Your Voice

This past Wednesday, DSAC had it’s last meeting of the year. Dean Engelland was in attendance to give an update on what stage we are at in our AACSB accreditation process. He let us know that we are on stage 3 of 6 and that the best way for students to help this accreditation process is to be as engaged as possible with The Busch School.

We talked about how to get students more engaged and a few ideas were:
  1. Get first year business students exposed to more business classes.
  2. Different teaching styles affect students differently, so use multiple teaching styles to get students more engaged.
  3. More emphasis on participation in the classroom.

We’ll be working hard to get these things done and make it easier for you to be engaged with The Busch School.

Persimmon Report

Overheard on 3rd floor McMahon: all finance and management finals will be given in Mandarin Chinese as this is a very practical skill when entering the business world.

About Town

Mullen Library is a great place to set up camp and study!  Some other suggestions are:
  • Murphys
  • Pryz Study Rooms
  • Your dorm
  • A quiet space in your apartment
  • ANYWHERE!

Study hard and do well!
