Student Spotlight

Happy Monday Busch students! Have you ever been in the downstairs Pryz line and had a kind soul offer one of their meal swipes to you? If so you have encountered this week’s Student Spotlight, Angela Fragale. This senior International Business major is running around campus all week either working her shifts in the Gibbons RHO, helping out with various Custos or PEERS events, or in Caldwell Chapel or St. Vinny's for daily Mass. On top of all of this, she is a valued member of the student ministry, which allows her to interact with first-year students and help them feel supported and welcomed into our CUA community as well fostering their relationship with Christ. Angela serves as a resource and most importantly a friend to students as they adjust to their first year of college. Her favorite class here at CUA was Prof. Widmer’s Business Ethics, she enjoyed focusing on the side of business that is often ignored, yet can truly make or break a company. “It put my goals and mission for my life into perspective and I try to live out the principles I learned from Professor Widmer every day”.  She leaves this piece of advice to prospective students, “You will not have to worry about the quality of education you will receive here at the Busch school. On top of a quality education, you will also receive life-long mentors, and an upperclassman to help you figure out your schedule/life here at CUA”. See if you can catch Angela in the Pryz for the free meal swipe!
If you would like to nominate a Busch student who goes above and beyond in academics, athletics, service, or student life, please fill out this nomination form.
